EMILY DALY

Emily was one of the Miss Maria’s students for several years. She even competed on the Miss Maria’s Premier team for 9 of those years.

She currently is going to JCCC and majoring in Sociology. She’s is also on the JCCC Golden Girls Dance Team for the 2nd year in a row.

ABBY HILL

Abby took classes at Miss Maria’s from age 3 to 18.

She competed on the NAC, USATT, and Premier teams.

She is a Kansas State Classy Cat and credits her great instructors at Miss Maria’s for helping her achieve that dream. She is now president of pi beta phi at KSU and says her many years of dance and tumbling classes helped prepare her for this leadership roll.

Abby hopes to come back and teach classes at Miss Marias after her graduation. She has many lifelong friends thanks to her time spent at the studio which she called her home away from home for many years.

JESSI HILBURN

Jessi attended Miss Maria’s as a student from ages 6 to age 18. She began her first few years taking recreational classes and recitals; where she realized she loves to perform. After 3 years Jessi became a part of the NAC, USATT, and Premier dance team. As a former student of our studio she grew to become a teacher and has been teaching with us for the past 8 years.

Jessi graduated from Washburn University with a
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in sociology. She plans to put her degree towards helping children who are in need of rehabilitation and counseling.

JERICA LEIBY

Jerica Leiby began her dance career at Miss Maria’s at the age of 10, and stayed with the studio through her high school graduation at the age of 18. She recently graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Textile and Apparel Management. During her time at Mizzou, Jerica was a founding member of the Mizzou Club Dance Team. She also taught Jazz and Hip Hop at a local Columbia, MO studio during her four years of college. In addition to dance, Jerica studied for one semester at the London College of Fashion, and held two internships in the fashion industry in New York City.

Jerica currently resides in New York City working in product development at an apparel corporation. She retains her passion for dance, and is forever grateful to the Miss Maria’s team for the amazing opportunities and life long friendships she gained during her time with the studio.

MEGHAN ZYCH

Meghan is another Miss Maria’s Family Member. She graduated and went to KSU to become a classy cat with her fellow Miss Maria’s Alum Abby.

She misses Miss Maria’s so much she returns to help sub and even taught a few classes. Her students see the life and passion she gained from Miss Maria’s through her teaching as she passes on the tradition to them.
