Miss Nikki’s dance career started in Winona, MN at the age of three. As a young dancer she attended several competitions and conventions. During this time she was offered a traveling member spot in the Mickey Mouse Club. Miss Nikki continued to expand her dance experience during her teen years. After high school Miss Nikki took her dance experience even further, while attending college in St. Joseph, MN she had the opportunity to choreograph, and perform in, a modern dance routine for the fine arts program. In addition, Miss Nikki performed in many theatrical programs, some of which included dance routines. She enhanced her dance experience during college by working as a dance instructor for Stars Dance Studio in Clearwater, MN. Her classes included Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Hip Hop. She majored in Theatre graduating with honors.

Miss Nikki has 13 years of teaching experience with Miss Maria’s Dance Studio. She has a great love for dance and this is apparent in her teaching skills and dedication to her students. She continues to grow in the dance arena. She has attended several dance conventions including Pulse, Hollywood Connections Dance Convention, Jump, and SYTYCD Teachers Convention; attending classes in Hip Hop, Broadway, Jazz, Lyrical, and Tap. At the Pulse Dance Convention she took classes from amazing choreographers from the TV series “So You Think You Can Dance”,Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Tyce Diorio,Chris Judd, Brian Friedman, and Dave Scott.

Theatre/Dance Experience: The Wizard of Oz, Singin’ in the Rain, Oliver, Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Trial of Hansel and Gretel, Fiddler on the Roof, The Frog Prince, Blue Room, Children’s Stories, Elves and the Shoemaker, Complete Works Abridged, Servant of Two Masters, Antigone, and Monologues for Senior Thesis.

Other Training: Teaching theatre courses for Theatre in the Park which included: Harry Potter, Acting, Story Telling, and Advanced Acting.

Miss Nikki has a baby girl Quinn Kelly Bizal who is 1.5 and will be adding twin girls to the mix this Fall!
