Avery Meyer

Avery Meyer is starting her first year teaching at Miss Maria’s but she’s no stranger to tumbling, dance and cheer. 

 

Avery started dance at the age of 3 and transitioned to all star cheer at the age of nine when she started to really focus on tumbling and cheer. She absolutely loves teaching and coaching and working with kids to help them find their excitement around learning new skills and having fun while challenging themselves to always progress. She brings both knowledge of technique and ability to teach in a way that makes sense and is encouraging to her students.  Her students enjoy her always present smile and positive attitude. She can put even the most anxious student at ease and help them to find their way. 

 

Avery currently does Varsity cheer at her high school and is on a worlds level team (level 6) in all star cheer. She also enjoys being part of the IPS program at ONW and working with peers with developmental challenges.

 

Her goal is always to have everyone leave her class with a smile on their face, a feeling of accomplishment and desire to come back and get to work again soon.
